Our story

Gruyere is a little known gem in the Yarra Valley. Ideally located just over 40km from Melbourne CBD, it makes it an ideal spot for weekend getaways to visit local wineries, gardens and trails.

Grasmere Farm is named after Grasmere in the Lake District (UK) where owners Jo & Rob used to holiday more than 20 years ago.

With the intention of being self-sufficient, the farm has cows, alpacas, chickens, ducks and a large veggie patch.

Set on 32 acres there's always plenty to do and a beautiful view to share with visitors.
